Thursday was the ultrasound and it was amazing :) Our little angel is perfect. The tech said they were able to rule out spina bifida and scoliosis. They also do a 3 point check for downs syndrome and that they all looked good. They can't eliminate the possibility of downs but when the baby passes those 3 points the chance is reduced by 50%. The tech also said that the brain and kidneys looked good. Everything was amazing, the heart rate was 153, had all four chambers, blood flow looked good and was growing inside the chest like it should. Baby C has 10 fingers and 10 toes and we are still not finding out what it is, but the tech did say that whatever the sex that area looked good. The baby was being a little stubborn and won't move where the tech wanted to get the picture angle. I guess just like its mommy and daddy :) I was hoping that the going to the bathroom all the time would less this trimester but it turns out that the baby is sitting so low it is right on my bladder. We are going to go back when I am 28 weeks (about 11 weeks from now) and having the 4D scan done. I will definitely post those pictures to see as well. Other than that they will not do another ultrasound unless they feel there is medical reason to. I go back for my next check up September 24. Yesterday the baby was extra squirmy but it was exciting to feel it moving around inside. Below are a few previews of our little angel 0:)
